Comparing the DVDs and Online Academy

We've been getting a number of inquires into our new online academy version of The Logic Seminar, so I thought I would help you compare the two with this short list of features and differences!

The Dvd version features:
  • All physical dvds and print materials, no digital products.
  • As long as you have some type of dvd player device, you can watch the lessons.
  • Ready-to-go. No printing of out PDF versions.

DVD cons:
  • If multiple students, additional print materials can be purchased, or copies can be made of one students (yes, we allow that within a household).

The online version features:
  • Lower cost for you the customer ($25 per household).
  • If your household regularly uses hi-speed internet and computers for the classroom, it may be more natural and easier to use a web-based version than swapping dvds.
  • Easier to 'rewind' or back up if you need during a lesson.
  • Ability to post a question or comment for the lesson and receive an answer from myself or even from other students.
  • Digital PDF versions of all print material (8.5x11).
  • If multiple students, just print out as many worksheets as you need from the pdfs.

  • Online disadvantages:
    • No physical product in hand, although you have digital pdfs of the print material, and can download the videos for your archiving.

Both of them have the same content, but depending on your setup, situation, and number of students, one may work better than the other.
